May we not take for granted the
rights and privileges that come with
being an American citizen.
May we always recognize and
appreciate those who have fought
and struggled to preserve our
freedom and independence.
May we do our part today
to always act on behalf of
the common good,
to stand up for the rights of
everyone,
to defend the vulnerable,
and to use our power and
influence to preserve the
freedom we now have.
Dear God, give us strength, courage
