In Holy Week will we not be filled with empathy

for our dear Lord’s suffering?

Empathy Em-Pathos > 

into feeling; into suffering; into passion

To be empathetic is to be willing to feel deeply

with another no matter our own situation.

It means allowing our hearts to open up

to another’s grief, another’s pain, another’s agony.

Please do this in memory of me.

Amen.
