What a life-giving Lenten practice: 

Contribute to the resurrection of Earth

by returning to nature and 

returning something to nature.

Begin with awe and wonder. 

Engage in a Lenten discipline

of critique and analysis.

Then advocate and take action.

Plan your garden or water your plants

as a gesture of giving life

and re-creating Earth.

Creator of Earth and the Seasons,

be honored in my attending to your creation.

All you have created inspires awe

and gratitude.

Be praised! Be thanked!
