Dear Faithful Divine Friend,

thank you for this day you have given me.

Thank you for the life you have given me.

Thank you for the gifts you have given me.

Please give me strength to endure the hard things

that are affecting my life these days.

Please give me patience in regard to

bewildering experiences.

Please give me tolerance in challenging encounters.

I lift my mind and heart to you

in praise and thanksgiving.

I place my trust in your close presence,

encouraging grace, and sure guidance

for today and always.
