How did Mary live Prophetic Courage?
She dared to speak out for the lowly;
She risked indicting the powerful;
She stood at the foot of the the cross
of a political prisoner.
How might we?
Share the fruit of your prayer.
Speak up on conscience matters;
Tell the truth with love;
Advocate to abolish the death penalty,
the inequitable system of incarceration,
nuclear weapons, war as first response,
endangerment of the planet,
“subjugation” by laws, policies, attitudes
of minorities, refugees, or immigrants;
or your justice, peace, or other concern.
Amen.
