Let us all pause and ask:
What kind of world
do we want to leave our children?
Even connect with another person
for their thoughtful description
of a world our children deserve.
Take some action today
that might contribute to evolving
that crucially necessary world
or desist from some practice
that might interfere
with your most hopeful plans for them.
Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Love,
our children are precious.
Make us totally unselfish
and giving in their regard.
Give us a holy determination
to help evolve a better world
where every child on earth
can live in a peace-filled environment
and can have access to the necessities
of a thriving life for body, mind, and spirit.
Amen.
