Let us look for the blessings
in our blessings today:
The gift of life, of course.
The gift of family, friends, community.
The gift of challenges to let go
and the invitations to grow
and move forward.
The gift of mutual support.
The gift of prayer and solitude.
The gifts of reciprocity and solidarity,
a reciprocity to be interested in others’ interests;
solidarity to band with others’ efforts for the good.
Amen.
