Why not join in fellowship
Where we will hear the scriptures proclaimed
in a different voice from our own
and thereby hear the word of God anew?
Why not join in fellowship
Where we will celebrate good news,
good friends, good deeds,
and learn of the kingdom Christ envisions?
Why not join in fellowship
Where we can receive
the “cup of Salvation”
recalling all celebrational meals
as well as Christ’s call to each of us
this very day and be emboldened
and encouraged by faith witnesses?
Amen.
