“If the ‘god’ we worship doesn’t like

the same people we don’t like,

we can be sure it is not the same God

who created us.”*

Father/Mother of all,

teach me to have loving, tolerant,

and realistic acceptance of all,

even those so seemingly different.

Let me wish them well in prayer.

Then let me attend to my own imperfections

and seek your forgiveness and grace.

Please help me let your Holy Spirit

lead and guide me in thoughts, words,

and deeds today.

Amen.
