to meet the needs of the suffering

Jesus, your compassionate heart
embraces us all.
Move us with compassionate eyes
to see suffering.
Move us with compassionate hearts
to respond.
Let us realize that you have flooded us
with your love
so that it will simply pour out of us
on those you want our ministering to reach.
