God of Darkness,
sometimes you seem far away
as I flounder in darkness,
even tempted to despair.
Increase my faith in you
even within the mystery of unknowing.
You are “Bright darkness of ineffable Mystery.”*
May I seek you with all my heart in all that happens.
I pray again:
May I find you in all that is and in my deepest self.
Amen.
