One more, one less . . . Leaf on a tree
endangered species on or off the list
One sparrow falling from the sky . . .
Jesus declared:
God knows; God cares.
If the hairs on our heads are numbered,
shouldn’t we be sure
God can count on us?
Loving God, thank you
for caring about me in every detail.
Thank you for knowing me
through and through.
Thank you that I am invaluable to you
and for showing your valuing
in suffering and dying on the Cross.
May I strive to love all
with a reverence and gratitude
that lets your tender regard
show through to all persons
and all living things.
Amen.
