Yes, some things are overwhelming.
But let God be all in all.
All-knowing God:
Give me wisdom
to discern the right choices for me
in this time.
Give me knowledge
to discriminate the good
in the midst of any chaos or confusion.
Give me understanding
of the hearts and minds of others
and patience with whatever
about their articulations bewilder me.
Give me counsel
from faithful and wise persons
who have their being in you.
Give me prayerfulness
so that I will be consciously attuned
to your Holy Spirit
who will guide me daily.
Let me be
more and more open to
your word and your will.
Amen.
