Feast of Saint Ann and Saint Joachim
who were honored as parents of Mary
and grandparents of Jesus:
Let us pray for parents and their sacred role
and all in parenting roles.
Let us pray for grandparents
in their unique relationship to their grandchildren.
Let us pray for aunts and uncles
who keep an eye on the extended family.
Let us pray for siblings
who are aware of their special relationships.
Let us pray for all families
that they be supported with special graces.
Let us pray for whatever it might take
for families to be flourishing.
Let us pray that neighbors or church members
or societal services
play their role in supporting whatever is needed
by families and any of their members.
Saints Ann, Joachim, Joseph, Mary,
Pray for us.
